Faux Gras (in French faux means ‘fake’) is a vegetarian alternative to Foie Gras, a pate made of fatty goose livers.
Thanks to many aromatic ingredients, it is in no way inferior to the meat version. The composition includes French lentils, brandies, walnuts, caramelized shallots, fresh sage, and thyme. Faux Gras goes well with crackers, a fresh baguette, or as an addition to raw vegetables.
